Kurt Angle On Watching WWE After Retirement: "Right Now It’s A Little Hard To Watch"

It's been months since Kurt Angle retired from wrestling at WrestleMania 35 and he talks about what working behind the scenes is like.

In an interview with Pop Break, Angle talked about getting to be in WWE but not in a wrestling capacity. Although Angle is enjoying his time working backstage, he does admit that it's hard sometimes to watch wrestling when he isn't going to partake in it.

"Right now it’s a little hard to watch. I mean when you make the transition from wrestling to retirement, you still want to be out there. So it’s a little difficult, but I’ve been handling it pretty well. It keeps me busy," Angle said.

The WWE Hall of Famer saw his wrestling career end after losing his retirement match against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania. The match not only saw Angle end his career, but put an end to the final chapter of his WWE run as a wrestler. Angle spoke on getting to work with Corbin and had high praise for the current King of the Ring.

"Baron’s a good kid. I think he’s gonna have a great future. He’s obviously King of the Ring now. I always knew he was would be really good, and I know Vince McMahon really likes him a lot. And I’m happy to see him having the success that he’s been having," Angle said.
