Kushida Announced For Gauntlet Eliminator On 9/23 NXT

Names are being revealed for the upcoming Gauntlet Eliminator taking place next week on NXT.

WWE announced that Kushida will compete in the Gauntlet Eliminator on September 23 with the winner facing Finn Balor for the NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver. WWE stated that four more wrestlers will take part in the match.

The rules for the match are as follows:

• Two men will start in the ring
• Every 4 minutes, another competitor will enter
• The only way to be eliminated is via pinfall or submission
• The last man standing will be named the No. 1 contender for the NXT Championship and will go on to face Finn Balor at NXT TakeOver

It was previously announced that the September 23 episode of NXT will feature a Battle Royal with the winner challenging for Io Shirai's NXT Women's Championship at TakeOver.
