The Don Callis Family is one of the largest factions in the world of pro wrestling today, with Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, Trent Beretta, Lance Archer, Brian Cage, Mark Davis, Josh Alexander, Rocky Romero, Hechicero, Kazuchika Okada, Wardlow, Andrade El Idolo, and El Clon all currently being a part of the faction. At AEW Full Gear, should Mark Briscoe lose to Fletcher in his challenge for the TNT Title, he will also join the faction. Fletcher has been a part of the faction for a long time now, and has proven to be one of the stable’s integral members.
While speaking to TMZ Sports in a new interview, Kyle was asked what it’s like when ‘daddy Don Callis’ gets mad at his kids, with Fletcher noting he believes Callis has a soft spot in his heart for him.
“I’ve seen him be rough to other people. I think I have a soft spot in his heart. He always treats me pretty well. I haven’t gotten his bad side yet. So, yeah, we have a really good relationship, but it definitely, if someone doesn’t want to follow orders, there’s a little bit of, (slaps hand) in the back.”
