Throughout Fletcher’s AEW career, he has had some large highs, having become a two time TNT Champion, an AEW Trios Champion and also the current International Champion, while also having big storylines with the lies of Will Ospreay.
While speaking to Big Gold Media in a new interview, Kyle Fletcher spoke about treating every single thing that he has done in his professional wrestling career as the biggest deal in the world.
“One of the things that I have always strived for throughout my career is treating every single thing that I do like it’s the biggest deal in the world. Doesn’t matter if I’m wrestling for a tag title or if I’m wrestling in front of 20 people or whatever, like every step along the way, I treated it like it meant the world to me because it did. This is literally my dream. I’m living my dream, and it’s like, the bigger the opportunities get and the bigger the platform, the bigger that pressure gets. But, I think that pressure is necessary to succeed and to keep pushing and keep growing because the pressure gets bigger and more people are relying on me and more people are depending on me to go and do an awesome job. It then pushes me to, okay, I have to- every single day, I have to be working to get better so that I can handle that pressure, that I can handle that load, so that I can be the guy that leads this company into the next 10, 20 years and makes it into something that lasts a lifetime, right? That’s what I want, and that pressure is necessary for me to keep pushing to get better every day, I think.”
