At AEW Grand Slam: France, Darby would defend the AEW TNT Championship at the special Tuesday night event, defeating Fletcher to retain.
While speaking on his latest Protolog, Kyle Fletcher reacted to the event of Grand Slam: France.
“Fuck, I forgot what it was again. Grand Slam France or Grand Slam Paris? Grand Slam France, I think. First one ever, because I’m sure after tonight it’s probably gonna happen again. Grand Slam France numero uno. Good day, bad loss. Long day, I’m very tired. It’s been, I’ve been here for 36 hours or something like that. What’s between 36 and 48? Can you do that math real quick? 42, 42 hours. in the country of France, in Paris. Thanks for the fun times, everybody. The crowd was absolutely buzzing. It was a good atmosphere in the building. First time ever with Darby Allin, had a fun time. Cheating bastard had to cheat to beat me. But we will rectify it all in due time.”
Elsewhere in the same vlog, Kyle would leave a memorial to PAC in Paris. You can read more about that here.
