Kyle Fletcher Was Terrified Of Thumbtacks Piercing His Penis In AEW Revolution Steel Cage Match With Will Ospreay

Kyle Fletcher was terrified of removing the Spanish Fly from the top of the steel cage during his match with Will Ospreay at AEW Revolution. He revealed this during an interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp.

Kyle Fletcher and Will Ospreay were once the best of friends. However, Fletcher turned on Ospreay at Don Callis’s request in 2024. Their rivalry culminated inside a steel cage at AEW Revolution 2025. As the match reached its peak, Ospreay hit a Spanish Fly on Fletcher from the top of the cage.

In a recent interview with Sean Ross Sapp, Fletcher shared that he was scared of the spot. He also mentioned that he wasn’t the only one afraid; Will was too. Luckily, he says the move didn’t hurt too much. He also feared the pain from thumbtacks. Specifically, Fletcher says he didn’t want one accidentally piercing the tip of his penis.

“Obviously, terrified of the Spanish Fly. I was deathly afraid. We both were. It didn’t hurt too much. It was all good. It all came off pretty gravy. The one that I was dreading also going into it was the thumbtacks, the Styles Clash into the thumbtacks. My idea, my suggestion. Whatever, kill me, I love it, but before I was like, ‘I just don’t want to get one right in the tip of my penis. I just don’t want one in my penis. Please.’ Luckily, we went unscathed. Definitely dreading that one.”
