Kyle O'Reilly Wants To Have Matches In NXT With KUSHIDA And Matt Riddle

Kyle O'Reilly is calling his shot.

Undisputed ERA member and former two-time NXT Tag Team Champion Kyle O'Reilly is gearing up for NXT TakeOver XXV on June 1st and he recently competed in the 2019 PROGRESS Wrestling 'Super Strong Style 16' tournament. O'Reilly's in-ring style has been praised by those who have watched his career unfold over the years and O'Reilly wants to continue testing his skill against the best that NXT has to offer. While he was in the U.K. for the Super Strong Style 16 tournament, he chatted with Will Gavin of talkSPORT and shared that he'd like to have a match against former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion KUSHIDA and Matt Riddle, who defeated Adam Cole on last week's episode of NXT TV.

"Certainly another match under the NXT banner with KUSHIDA would be ideal. A singles match with Matt Riddle would be awesome. There’s so many guys I think I’d mesh well with, but I’m such a fan of that pseudo-MMA style that those are guys I feel I could tear it down with." O'Reilly explained.

While mentioning Adam Cole, Cole will have another crack at the NXT Championship as he will meet Johnny Gargano at NXT TakeOver XXV with the title hanging in the balance.
