LA Knight believes that he belongs in the world title in the lead up to WrestleMania 42.
At this upcoming weekend’s WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event, the men’s Chamber match will feature six men looking to book their spot at WrestleMania 42 against WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. One man who features in said match is LA Knight.
While speaking on ESPN SportsCenter in a new interview, LA Knight was asked what it would mean to him to be involved in the WWE Title picture at WrestleMania, noting that he feels like it is overdue at this point.
“It would mean all this paid off. Everything. All the effort, all the time, all the blood, sweat, tears, all that stuff that you hear everybody talk about, it’s real. I’m 23 years deep in this thing right now, but with that being the case, when you talk about a marquee match like that, nothing gets bigger than WrestleMania. As far as I’m concerned, me being in the World Title picture at WrestleMania, overdue if you ask me.“
Knight recently featured in a new Slim Jim ad earlier this month. You can read more about that here.
