LA Knight Says He Will Be ‘Louisiana Knight’ For WWE Money In The Bank Weekend

LA Knight says that he will be ‘Louisiana Knight’ for one weekend only for his WWE World Championship challenge at Money In The Bank.

Last year, in a shared segment together, R-Truth would do his usual schtick of changing people’s names when he interacts with them, labeling LA Knight as ‘Louisiana Knight’. Now, Knight is embracing the joke.

While speaking to WDSU News in a new interview, LA Knight noted that for one weekend only he will be ‘Louisiana Knight’ at Money In The Bank.

“Oh, man, I was coined Louisiana night a couple years ago here, wasn’t I, by, well, R-Truth. But, yeah, you know, it’s funny. I lived in L.A. for so long. LA Knight, of course, and here we are in Louisiana. So we’ll go ahead and make it Louisiana Knight one more time for this weekend. But, yeah, it’s, again, just cool being here. Big, big. And what is this? This is the payoff because, wasn’t it, The Rock came in here and told everybody, oh, we’re going to WrestleMania, and then things changed a little bit. I know, sore subject. Sorry, guys. But, look, this is the make good, and I’m going to make it good when I take that thing off Roman Reigns on Saturday.”

Knight’s World Title challenge against Roman Reigns is set to open WWE Money In The Bank. You can read more about that here.
