LaBron Kozone explains the two things that he tries to instill in every pro wrestling talent that he trains inside the squared circle.

Kozone is both an active wrestler and a trainer, and is responsible for the training of the likes of WWE names such as Je’Von Evans and Jackson Drake. Now, he has explained two key things that he tries to instill in his trainees.

While speaking to Fightful’s In The Weeds in a new interview, LaBron Kozone was asked about the things that he tries to instill in the wrestlers he trains.

“One is perfection. Two is never give up. Just it’s very cliche, but people really don’t understand how difficult wrestling is, and when I say difficult, I don’t mean physically. A lot of people can do what we do physically. There’s a lot of athletically talented people. But, the hard part is how do you respond when your best friend gets put in a big situation, but you don’t? Cause it’s a lot more than becoming the best, it was how you deal with people in this industry and then everything being under a microscope, especially in today’s industry, where everything’s being recorded, everything’s being documented and all it takes is one thing that just sends you all into a spiral, you know, so being able to handle what you do in life, and in wrestling, not just the physical aspect, but the mental aspect, the emotional aspect, and through it all, just keep going.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Kozone spoke about Je’Von Evans wanting to pay him back for training him with a marquee match. You can read more about that here.
