LaBron Kozone says that it makes him tear up that Je’Von Evans, who he trained, wants to pay him back for training him with a major match.

Earlier this year in an interview of his own, Je’Von Evans would speak about wanting to wrestle Kozone and Jackson Drake, wanting to pay Kozone back for training him with a WrestleMania bout.

While speaking to Fightful’s In The Weeds in a new interview, LaBron Kozone spoke about what Evans had to say earlier this year, noting that it made him tear up.

“I mean, it honestly makes me tear up, I have to tell him, don’t ever think that you have to pay anything back. He does it every day by doing this, by being who he is, by lacing up his shoes and keep stepping in the ring and proving to the world that he is the best wrestler in the world. Same thing with Jackson Drake. Even with the training school here in Greensboro, I have plenty of people. They sign up to the school and I put out a questionnaire, ‘How’d you find out about our training facility?’ and the most common answer is the guys that are doing their thing on TV. So they’re already paying it back. Of course, that’d be a dream match. It’s actually a match he was wanting before he went off and went down to Florida. But we’ve never had to do a- got the chance to do a proper singles match like we wanted. We have years ago, back when he was younger, maybe 14, 15 years old. But yeah, love my guys to death.”

Kozone would also be asked about his own dream opponent.

“You know, that’s really hard to put a finger on. I’ve been fortunate to wrestle a lot of people that I look up to. So it’s really (put me) on the spot. I just really can’t really think of much anybody other than personal childhood favorites. I’ve always been the Hardy Boys guy growing up, So, just guys like that, ones who I’ve admired when I was younger.”
