Lacey Lane Recalls Awkward First Interaction With Damian Priest

While Lacey Lane can no longer go on the road with Damian Priest in WWE, the two remain in contact and are great friends. Lane has been making waves since her WWE release, but she recently sat down with Denise Salcedo to discuss her friendship with the former WWE Champion.

“We’ve always been friends since he first got there,” Lane said. She later spoke about their first interaction, one that could’ve gone a much different way, “I remember he looked like this person, because I watch a lot of K dramas and C dramas, and I walked into him the first day he got there and I was like, ‘you look like this guy named Mr. Gal’.”

Thankfully for Lane, it ended up blossoming into a fantastic friendship. Even though Priest is still in WWE, she knows he’ll always be there to talk to and he did indeed help her after her release.
