Lady Frost Says She Interviewed For The ‘American Gladiators’ Reboot, ‘I’m Probably Just Too Short’

Lady Frost was almost a part of the ‘American Gladiators’ reboot.

Premiering on April 17, the series is stacked with current wrestlers like Wardlow and Kamille. As it turns out, Lady Frost also did an interview for the show.

“They actually called me. They did. Yup. I did an initial interview for them. I’m probably just too short, okay? Like I’m jacked up, but I’m just kind of floating around that five foot height level. They’re like, ‘You can’t reach the rings,’ is probably what they were thinking.” Frost told Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp in a new interview.

Frost went on to recall appearing on ‘The Quiz With Balls’ show.

“Yes, they started it. I was so pumped when I tell you, I was like, ‘This is my dream job. This makes perfect sense. Let me just beat the shit out of someone with the pole.’ But yeah, we did the initial interview and then I want to say that was like two years ago. Because I had to ask for approval from AEW. I also did another show, remember Quiz with Balls? So I did that reality show or game show. That was the one they use the clip over and over of me doing the front flip in the water. They were very adamant. They were like, ‘No flips, no dives, you go in feet first.’ I was like, ‘Oh, feet first.’ That’s the only part I heard, here we go.”

With her lighter schedule, Frost is open to doing more television, stunt, or acting work.

“I don’t know what is really next or also in the cards as well as MLW. I know I’m going to have a little bit more free time. I know they’re starting to do weekly television again, but I will have more downtime. So I think there are more options to see what’s out there. Yeah, definitely stunt work. Acting is something I never really dove into, but I’m not against it. I’m sure if the opportunity comes and it felt like a good fit and I wouldn’t suck at it, then yeah. But I think wrestling opens so many doors to other interesting jobs and if it’s voiceover work, whatever it might be, it’s just kind of like where that path leads.”
