Lana has had a rough history with Nia Jax, dating back to when Nia attacked her at the 2019 Royal Rumble. Since then, Nia has been a thorn on Lana's side, putting her through tables on a weekly basis in 2020.
Lana has a chance to get some revenge on Sunday if she and Naomi can win the Tag Team Turmoil match at night one at WrestleMania 37. A victory in Tag Team Turmoil would give them a shot at Nia, Shayna Baszler, and the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles.
Speaking on the Geek Vibes podcast, Lana, speaking in-character, discussed a potential showdown with the champs.
"Every person who has fought Nia and Shayna, they know how ruthless they are. I can guarantee, every single woman in that locker room that steps in the ring with Nia, they know what a risk it is. We can remember what happened with Becky [Lynch] and Kairi [Sane] and so many other people. Anything can happen with that woman. She is strong, she is a beast, she fought in the Men's Royal Rumble. She beat up Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio. That's literally insane, the power of this woman. Nia actually took me out in 2019 at the Royal Rumble. She's been constantly targeting me, probably because I like the color pink," she said.
Nia & Shayna took Lana out of WWE TLC where she was scheduled to team with Asuka and challenge for the Women's Tag Team Titles. Lana got some revenge in a tables match on the February 8 episode of WWE Raw.
Lana & Naomi will have to get past Tamina & Natalya, The Riott Squad, Billie Kay & Carmella, and Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke in Tag Team Turmoil if they hope to meet Jax & Baszler at WrestleMania 37.
