Lana feels that she is putting in the work to get better rather than simply complaining about it.
It has been a roller coaster year both on and off-screen for Lana. On-screen, she began the year 2020 in one of the major storylines on Monday Night Raw as she was married to Bobby Lashley. However, when that storyline ended, things quickly shifted for her.
Away from television, her husband, Rusev, would be fired by WWE and later turn up in AEW as Miro. Lana previously discussed how losing the person that has been on this journey in WWE with her since day one affected her mental health. By the end of 2020, Lana was involved in a running gag where she was continuously put through tables by Nia Jax.
In 2021, Lana has put forth your best effort on and off television to turn her fortunes around. She would finally get the better of Nia Jax in a tables match on Monday Night Raw and away from the ring, she is consistently working on her craft in hopes of receiving greater opportunities on TV.
In a new video released on Twitter, she spoke about how hard she is working. In the caption of the video, she addressed those that complain about not getting opportunities, stating that they may not be putting in the work in the way that she is.
I see a lot of women complaining about their lack of opportunities but I don’t see them taking no days off, in wrestling training, in acting class, writing, going after it with a smile on their face after being told NO over and over again. Lana recently discussed accepting that she would be perceived as “a failure” during her initial outings in the wrestling ring. Learn more here.
