Lance Storm On TNA-AMC: If The Taped Shows Do As Well As The Live Shows, They’re Won’t Be A Panic To Go Live Every Week

Lance Storm comments on the potential taping schedule for TNA-AMC.
With the recent media rights announcement, fans have speculated on the taping schedule for weekly episodes of TNA iMPACT. Some fans believe that the show could air live on a weekly basis, which would be a major change from the company’s current taping schedule.
On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Live, TNA producer Lance Storm said that he suspects the taping schedule will depend on the ratings.
“I didn’t get anything pinned down other than it won’t be every week. I suspect, long-term, it will greatly depend on if the taped shows do as well as the live shows and if they do, then they’re won’t be a panic to go live every week. If the live shows do a lot better, I would imagine that would be the direction they want to go. You need to go live enough to where the fans get the impression that it’s a live show. Once they sort of have that feeling that they are live shows, you can actually have quite a few of them taped and nobody notices.”
