Laredo Kid vs. Rey Fenix For World Cruiserweight Title Set For 5/23 AAA On FOX

The AAA World Cruiserweight Title bout between Rey Fenix and Laredo Kid is locked in.

AAA World Cruiserweight Champion Laredo Kid and Rey Fenix have been on a course to clash over Laredo’s title.

The bout has now been made official as they’ll meet in singles action for the title on the May 23rd episode of Lucha Libre AAA on FOX.

Laredo Kid has been in possession of the championship since December 2024. Fenix is a former AAA World Cruiserweight Champion and held the belt for nearly 400 days before vacating the title.
