Last Chance Gauntlet Match To Fill Final Spot In Men's Money In The Bank Match Set For 5/4 WWE Raw

With Apollo Crews out of action and not participating at Money In The Bank, a decision has been made to replace him for the event.

WWE announced that a last chance gauntlet match is set for the May 4 episode of Raw where the winner replaces Crews in the men's Money In The Bank ladder match. No participants were named in the match.

Crews was originally in the match, but suffered an injury during his match against Andrade for the United States Championship on the April 27 episode of Raw.

Currently, four of the six spots have been filled and by the time May 4 comes, the only remaining spot would be the one left by Crews. On the May 1 episode of SmackDown, Otis and Dolph Ziggler will face off in a qualifying match where the winner is also inserted into the match.

The other four contestants in the match are Rey Mysterio, Daniel Bryan, King Corbin and Aleister Black. As for the women's ladder match taking place at May 10 event, five of the six contestants have been confirmed (Asuka, Shayna Baszler, Nia Jax, Dana Brooke, Lacey Evans) with Mandy Rose and Carmella wrestling each other on May 1 to determine the final entrant for that match.

The two ladder matches will take place at WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut on May 10 and Fightful will have live coverage of the show.
