Layla El says that WWE set her up for the remainder of her life, leading to her being known worldwide while also teasing future projects.
Throughout the mid to late 2000s and early 2010s, Layla would feature as part of WWE’s Divas roster, capturing the Divas Championship. Even without the title however, Layla would continue to be a part of WWE TV not only alongside Michelle McCool as a tag team wrestler, but also as a singles star.
While speaking to Denise Salcedo in a new interview, Layla El was asked if she feels her WWE career set her up for life.
“Well, thank you for saying that. WWE really did set me up for the remainder of my life. I mean, I get to go worldwide, be known, you know what I mean? I have so many opportunities that are open to me, and I get to do things that I guess, you know, if I wouldn’t have been with WWE would never been able to do, and it’s just, WWE gave me a legacy that I think a lot of people follows and I’m proud of, and there’s gonna be a lot of things I’m gonna be doing, like I’m gonna go back to England, so I’m gonna be doing a lot of stuff there so that so without WWE, I would not have been able to get that. I’m just gonna say, you guys gonna have to wait and see. Just follow my social media and you’ll get to see what’s coming up next.”
Elsewhere in another recent interview, Layla spoke about previously having beef with Kaitlyn. You can read more about that here.
