Laynie Luck Opens Up About WWE ID Women’s Title Win: “I Feel Like I Finally Got My Foot In The Door”

The current WWE I.D. Women’s Champion reflects on her title win.
At a Wrestling Open show in November, Laynie Luck won two matches to end her night as the second-ever WWE I.D. Women’s Champion. She won the belt in a six-way elimination match, and with the win came a WWE I.D. contract.
Luck reflected on the win while chatting with Pro Wrestling Illustrated, and here’s what she had to say about the accolade:
“It’s hard to describe, but obviously, I’m super pumped and I’m feeling very appreciated and loved with everyone reaching out and congratulating me and it’s just, like, I feel like I finally got my foot in the door, and I’m ready to prove to everyone that that’s all I ever needed. All I ever needed was a little platform, a little wedge in there, and I just am ready to make the most out of everything that having this title and attention can get me… With being in the I.D. program and all the access I get to, you know — going to the P.C. to train and talking to all the greatest minds that have done this and been so successful. I’m ready to make the most out of it.”
The first WWE I.D. Women’s Champion is Kylie Rae. She held the belt for just over 50 days before announcing that she was pregnant with her second child, leading to the title being vacated.
