In early 2025, Johnson and Christian would strike up a tag team in AEW and Ring Of Honor as ‘The Swirl’. Now, Johnson has revealed what the two’s tag team has allowed him to do.

While speaking on the latest episode of Hey! (EW), Lee Johnson had praise for his tag team partner, noting that he has allowed him to come out of his shell that he was in for a very long time.

“On a serious note, I think Blake… Seriously, I think Blake has allowed me to come out of a shell that I was in for a very long time. I think that he has such a personality that it made me very comfortable showing mine. So that’s where he, picked up for me.”
