Lee Johnson calls out Kenny Omega.
Johnson has previously cited Omega as the reason why he began wrestling training and while he has not got his match so far, his tag team partner as part of ‘The Swirl’, Blake Christian has had the chance to wrestle Omega, who is still a major part of AEW television after dealing with a recent bout with diverticulitis.
While speaking to Hey! (EW) with RJ City, Johnson was asked why he and Omega have yet to face off in singles match with each other.
“So, I don’t know, and I asked Blake to ask ‘Kenny, like, hey, is this going to lead to, you know?’ That’s just not what happened. So, Kenny Omega, if you are watching, I’m waiting on you.”
