Legendary Tag Team Reportedly Being Inducted Into WWE Hall of Fame

Back on January 17, Fightful's own Sean Ross Sapp tweeted this:

Well, as it turns out, it appears to be very true.

The rumors have been circulating for a while now and now it seems to be happening: the Rock 'N Roll Express, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson are being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Morton will be appearing and signing autographs at 50fifty Sports Tavern in Johnson City, Tennessee this Monday night, and the bar is advertising a "big announcement" being made that night on RAW:

If you watched wrestling as a kid you have to remember Rock n roll Express. Well Monday night here at 50fifty Ricky Morton will be here to sign autographs. There is a big announcement that will be made that night on Raw. Be here to watch some wrestling and have a beer with one of the Icons of wrestling. 8pm.

So far, Kurt Angle has been the only name announced for this year's Hall of Fame induction. However, there have been a lot of leaks, as Diamond Dallas Page, Beth Phoenix, William Regal and a posthumous induction of Rick Rude have all been rumored.

This year's 2017 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will be held on Friday, March 31st in the Amway Center in Orlando during WrestleMania 33 weekend. Tickets are available at this link.

The Rock 'n Roll Express were featured in the Tag Team Apocalypto Match of Broken Matt Hardy's Total NonStop Deletion on an episode of Impact Wrestling back in December. You can see a clip at the top of the page.
