'Legit' Leyla Hirsch has gone down with an injury.
On April 6, AEW taped the upcoming episode of Dark: Elevation ahead of Dynamite. The opening match for those in Boston featured Leyla Hirsch and Christina Marie. Less than a minute into the bout, however, Hirsch couldn't get up after landing awkwardly following a backflip off the second rope. The match was immediately stopped and Hirsch was helped to the back by medical personnel.
Specific details on the nature of the injury have yet to be revealed. Fightful will continue to monitor the situation and share any and all updates.

Hirsch has been one of AEW's top competitors in 2022, winning all but three of her matches this year. She recently had a falling out with former friends and allies, Red Velvet and Kris Statlander.
