During the pandemic, Leon Ruff was used as an enhancement talent on WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown.
He had stand out bumping performances against Alesiter Black and Sheamus in 2020, the latter of which earned him an extra $500.
Ruff reflected on the match, and his bonus, in a post on social media.

Ruff ended up becoming a fixture on NXT television after his matches against Sheamus and Black. Ruff would win the WWE NXT North American Championship during his time in the company.
He was released by WWE in August 2021.
