Leon Slater Def. Stacks To Retain TNA X Division Championship On WWE NXT

The X Division Title was defended on NXT.

The opening match of the October 21st edition of WWE NXT on The CW was Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo challenging Leon Slater for the TNA X Division Championship.

Slater was accompanied to the ring by Je’Von Evans, so he could offset Arianna Grace, who accompanied Stacks to the ring.

Slater put Stacks away with the Swanton 450 splash to retain his championship. It was Slater’s first defense since his match against Je’Von Evans at TNA Bound For Glory. Their match at the pay-per-view was thrown out when DarkState (Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin, Dion Lennox & Cutler James) crashed the bout.
