Leon Slater: I’m The English Je’Von Evans, He’s The American Leon Slater

Leon Slater is ready to go crazy with Je’Von Evans.

TNA Bound For Glory will be home to a bit of a dream match for fans of high-flying action, as Je’Von Evans will challenge Leon Slater for the TNA X-Division Championship. This will be Slater’s fifth defense of the title, which he won from Moose at the Slammiversary event in July.

Speaking with the Orlando Sentinel for a new interview, Leon Slater spoke about his match with Evans, saying that it’ll be like he’s wrestling a mirror.

“We’re almost alternate universe versions of each other, where I’m the English Je’Von Evans, and he’s the American Leon Slater. It’s almost like wrestling a mirror. So that’s an interesting concept and I’m excited to deliver on everyone’s expectations.”
