Leon Slater has named his dream match in pro wrestling, noting that he still wants a singles match with one of his idols, Jeff Hardy.

Over the past couple of years, Leon has made his way up the TNA roster hierarchy and has become both the X-Division champion as well as the TNA World Heavyweight Champion. During that time, he has aligned himself with The Hardy Bros, who have both spoken about the talent Slater possesses.

While speaking to The Extreme Channel in a new interview, Leon Slater was asked about what his dream match is at this stage of his career.

“Man, that’s another tough one. I feel like I’ve ticked a lot of them off, you know. I’ll say my dream match right now… Man, you’re killing me here. This is super tough. There’s so many people out there to choose from. Jeff Hardy. Yeah, I’ve still never got my singles. I’ve still never got my singles.”

When the idea of a match with Kazuchika Okada was suggested to him, Slater would remark that he may face him ‘one day.’

“Maybe one day!”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Leon spoke about his time in NXT, crediting it with him becoming TNA World Champion. You can read more about that here.
