Leon Slater Pulled From Bout Against Ricochet At Wrestlecon Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow

The bout between Leon Slater and Ricochet is officially off.

Wrestlecon announced that Slater has been pulled from his scheduled bout against Ricochet at the Wrestlecon Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow on April 16.

Wrestlecon put out the following statement:

Despite being previously cleared by all parties and respective management, Leon Slater has been pulled from this match one week prior to our Memorial event. We will have more to say at a later time, but we wanted to be immediately transparent to all fans.

Slater is the reigning TNA X-Division Champion while Ricochet is signed to AEW.

TNA has also pulled Nic Nemeth from his scheduled bout against MJF at CAP Wrestling on May 1 and Moose from his match at MLP Multiverse, though he wasn’t officially announced for the event.

Carlos Silva cited “partner conflicts” as the reason for talent being pulled.
