Leon Slater TNA Contract Status After Winning X-Division Title

One of TNA’s brightest young star’s contract is not as long as some may think, but there’s still some time left on the deal.

In October of 2023, TNA and Scott D’Amore announced that they had signed one of the brightest young talents in the world of professional wrestling when they tied ‘The Youngest In Charge’ Leon Slater down to what was announced at the time as a ‘long-term contract’ with the promotion. At TNA Slammiversary 2025, Leon would become the X-Division Champion and was congratulated by AJ Styles in the aftermath.

Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has now learned that Slater had then put pen to paper on a three year deal that is set to expire in the fall of 2026. Slater has made sporadic appearances on television for the promotion since signing, and has continued to be one of the top stars on the UK independent scene. Sources close to Slater also tell Brennan that he is looking to move to the United States, however it is not expected that Slater will stop working his dates in the UK in the mean time, but will be focusing on promotions such as RevPro, PROGRESS and North.

Slater made his debut for TNA in October of 2023 during the promotion’s UK tour, with his signing with the company being announced at their Coventry date.
