Lex Luger says that there were discussions about him attempting to hit Yokozuna with The Torture Rack during their feud.

During his in ring days, Luger was no stranger to feats of strength, especially where his early 90’s feud with Yokozuna was concerned. However, one feat he was unable to do was hit his Torture Rack finish on Yokozuna.

While speaking to Going Ringside in a new interview, Lex Luger was asked about potentially hitting Yokozuna with the Torture Rack.

“We thought of trying to, if we could get him up on somehow on the top apron and I can get underneath him. Could I walk him out? He’s the only guy I didn’t try the rack on. Yoko’s so agile. He was unbelievable. You could have got a spot where you kick him and kick him. He could have ended up in the top turnbuckle. He was amazing.”

Luger would then be asked about hitting his finish on The Giant, noting that he was easier due to his height.

“He was actually fairly easy because he’s so tall. It’s the really short, heavy guys that are more difficult for you to really get down and time it. But… He went up pretty easy because he kind of just got under me. He laid across me. He’s a great worker.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Luger spoke about suffering a fall a day before his WWE Hall of Fame induction. You can read more about that here.
