Lex Luger Takes Unassisted Steps In New Progress Video With DDP
Lex Luger reaches a new milestone in the latest update video about his physical fitness journey with Diamond Dallas Page.
WWE Hall of Famer Lex Luger has been confined to a wheelchair since suffering a spinal stroke in 2007. In recent months, he has been working with former WCW World Champion Diamond Dallas Page to regain some of his independence and improve his mobility.
The latest update video was posted to DDP’s YouTube channel on August 22. In the video, Luger was presented with a LifeGlider upright walker to help him gain some freedom from his wheelchair, a significant goal when he started working with Diamond Dallas Page. By the end of the video, he was seen getting out of his car without assistance and even took out his own wheelchair from the car without falling. It was an emotional moment for both him and Page.
Throughout the video, Page talked about the resilience of his former WCW coworker. They also discussed Lex Luger’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame and how a fall before his induction speech altered what they had envisioned for the night. Fans can check out the full video embedded above.
