Lio Rush talks about a big movie role he missed out on due to injury.

Back in November 2020, Lio Rush revealed that he was set to be a part of the cast for a new Power Rangers inspired movie titled 'Legend Of The White Dragon'. The movie, which is still currently in production, also has stars such as Jason David Frank and Aaron Schoenke involved in the cast.

In a new interview with the Say Less podcast, Rush revealed that he lost out on the acting gig due to an injury.

"Well actually, that opportunity [Power Rangers acting gig] kind of got stripped away from me because of my second injury. So yeah, yeah. I had a lot going on. I believe I was supposed to be one of the villains. I was gonna have a small fighting scene… I was probably fighting off one of the Power Rangers, which would have been dope. I was looking forward to that."

Rush recently to the ring in October after missing most of 2022 due to injury. Since returning, Rush has competed for promotions like GCW and PWG.
