Lio Rush Says He's Cleared After Three Months Of Rehab

Lio Rush is ready to return.

Lio took to social media to announce that he's been cleared after three months of rehab. Lio suffered an AC injury in the Casino Battle Royale at AEW Double or Nothing, where he was the surprise entrant in the match.

On June 8, Lio announced it was time for him to retire from wrestling. On June 10, Rush posted a statement on social media, before his AC procedure to address the issues that led to his retirement, saying that he was fulfilled and his professional wrestling career and was happy to be moving on to be a better father and husband and pursue other passions.

He had contractual agreements with New Japan Pro-Wrestling and has stated that he intends to fulfill those commitments when he is healthy.

Lio has been advertised for upcoming NJPW events including Resurgence on August 14 and Fighting Spirit Unleashed on August 16.

He has not been announced for official matches at either event.
