In a tweet on September 29, Rush simply wrote, "CLEARED", and he didn't elaborate.

Rush previously discussed his recovery in an interview with Fightful. In another interview, he detailed the extent of his injury.

Revolution Pro subsequently announced that Rush will compete in the 2022 British J Cup. He joins Connor Mills, Will Kaven, Leon Slater, and Robbie X in the lineup. The event will be held on October 22.

In the past, Mike Bailey, Michael Oku, El Phantasmo, and Jushin Liger have won the competition.

Rush left AEW when his contract expired in February. After his injury, he subsequently appeared at GCW No Signal in the Hills 2 in July, and he showed up at NJPW Capital Collision in May.

NJPW star Taiji Ishimoti recently called out Rush for a potential match.
