Liv Morgan: I Feel Like I Wanted To Prove That You Don’t Need To Put All Your Eggs In Rhea Ripley's Basket

Morgan offers kind words to Ripley.

For the greater portion of the last three years, Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley had been at odds on WWE programming. Her history with Ripley was spoken about while Morgan and Dominik Mysterio sat down for an interview with CNN-News18.

Morgan shared that when she was called up to the main roster, she gave her locker at NXT to Ripley. Morgan added that she always knew Ripley would be a star. As for their recent history, Morgan wanted to show that not all the eggs needed to be put into Ripley's basket and some could be put into hers.

"I’ve spent a lot of time with Rhea (Ripley) during NXT. I don’t know if you know this, but when I got called up, I actually gave Rhea my locker. I was like, ‘Here, my young. You can have my locker' because she didn’t even have a locker because that’s how -- but I did always know that Rhea was gonna be a star. I just always knew, I just saw it in her. I knew that she was gonna be a star and I’m so smart and I was right. But I feel like I wanted to prove that you don’t need to put all your eggs in Rhea’s basket. You can put some eggs in my basket and so the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour was pretty much me proving I’m just as much of a star as Rhea and if you don’t believe me, watch me and I feel like I’ve solidified that and proved everyone who thought differently wrong."

Morgan returned to Monday Night Raw on 5/27. She had a singles match against Kairi Sane, but she came out on the losing end following involvement from Roxanne Perez.
