Liv Morgan On Mentioning WWE Releases On TV: My Friends Said They Were Proud Of Me

On recent episodes of WWE Raw, Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan have mentioned the WWE releases of Sarah Logan and Ruby Riott (Ruby Soho in AEW).

Lynch and Morgan have talked about Liv's "friends" who are no longer with the company, reference Logan and Soho, who were part of the Riott Squad with Morgan.

Some fans have found the mention of real-life releases to be in bad taste, but Liv doesn't believe she has done anything wrong.

"Was it hard for me to say what I said? No because Becky has brought up my friends and my friends not being here. After that segment, I got a text from my friends saying how proud they were and how amazing they thought it was. I don't think there is any hard feelings anywhere around. I know I'm addressing something that may feel like an elephant in the room or taboo, but these are things that are happening. I don't think I said anything wrong," Liv said in an interview with Ryan Satin on Out of Character. "Everyone is allowed to feel how they want and react how they want. There was not one intention in my mind to offend anyone or make light of any situation, but just address the reality of the situation. I felt like she needed to hear it. She's on such a high horse right now that I couldn't wait to yank her down and bring her to reality."

In the promo, Liv said her friends were released because of Becky's contract.

Liv and Lynch will collide on Monday's Raw when Lynch defends the Raw Women's Championship against Morgan. Fightful will have live coverage of WWE Raw beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
