Liv Morgan: The Foundation And Fundamentals Of My Tag Team Prowess Formed With The Riott Squad

Liv Morgan reflects on her time with the Riott Squad.
In late 2017, Morgan debuted on the main roster alongside Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan. The trio dominated the main roster until 2019, as they were separated in the Superstar Shake-Up event.
Speaking with the Battleground podcast, Liv Morgan was asked about her stint with the faction and what she learned during that time.
“I mean, we were tagging all across the world, multiple nights a week. I became a lowkey tag team specialist and I learned from Ruby and Sarah, who have both been wrestling longer than me and both had more experience than me. They really took me under their wing and were patient with me and taught me a ton and I’m so much better for it at the end of the day. Honestly, we just had so much fun. Me and the girls, we just had so so so much fun. We became a family. We still keep in touch. I feel like the foundation and the fundamentals of my tag team prowess formed with the Riott Squad.”
Ruby Riott currently works for AEW under the Ruby Soho name. She’s been out of action since February 2024, as she welcomed a child into the world in October of that year.
On the other hand, Sarah Logan has been inactive since February 2024 as well. She welcomed her second child into the world in November of that year. In June 2025, Logan announced that WWE had decided to not renew her contract.
Elsewhere in the interview, Morgan cleared up her previous comments about fan criticism. Fans can check out her full comments by clicking here.
