Tessa Blanchard speaks for the first time since winning the IMPACT World Championship, and her controversies

- Tessa Blanchard says she's happy to be on the call and talk wrestling.

- She says having her family there at Hard To Kill to see her big championship victory was very important to her.

- Her new goals in wrestling after winning the IMPACT Title is to continue defending the championship.

- Tessa says she's open to a match against Taya for the World Title, and wants to break stereotypes.

- Tessa Blanchard tells me the weekend of her title win is full of highs and lows, and she opted to step away from social media a bit. She says not everyone is going to like her and she's made mistakes and faced challenges. She denies that she made any racial slurs. She feels like when people have negative stories emerge, people like to jump on the bandwagon. Tessa says it's just not true. 

- Blanchard tells me that Hard to Kill was a moment she was waiting for for nine months, so there was already a lot of emotion going on, and the stories weighed on her. She says she was motivated by the accomplishments of that weekend and isn't going to cement her legacy by winning a popularity contest.

- Tessa is very proud of motivating people, specifically women to pursue something they're passionate about.

- Tessa says there's some truth to the notion that she and Charlotte are true, thoroughbred Horsewomen. Being a Horseman is a lifestyle and a symbol of excellence, and for her and Charlotte it's a birthright.

- She's open to facing anyone as IMPACT World Champion. Man, woman, it doesn't matter.

- In response to Booker T's comments, Tessa says she's under a contract and she does everything she can to perform the task she's given to do.

- She's not opposed to the idea of combining the World Title with the Knockouts Title, but isn't dead set on it. She's down for anything.

- Tessa remembers a time when she literally got lost in the ring and had to be carried through a match. She puts over Gail Kim, Jimmy Jacobs, D-Lo Brown, Scott D'Amore, Tommy Dreamer, Don Callis for helping her. She specifically mentions Jimmy being a creative mind. 

- Tessa Blanchard was so happy that her feud with Sami Callihan had stuff that did great digital numbers. She says they always give it their all and he's a very creative person, even though they're so different. 

- Tessa loves the TNA being used WrestleMania weekend, and really wants to face Chris Sabin.

- She wants to defend the IMPACT World Championship overseas because she loves going overseas. Particularly wants to face Will Ospreay.

- Tessa is asked about Malia Hosaka not liking intergender wrestling. Tessa says she knows a lot of people like it, but it's another style of wrestling, and not every style of wrestling is going to be for everyone. She understands why some people are uncomfortable with it.

- Tessa says that Jeanie Buss is one of the strongest people she knows.
