Logan Paul Recalls One Of His First Meetings With WWE, ‘Vince Didn’t Say A Word, He Was Just Nodding’

Logan Paul recalls an early meeting with Vince McMahon.
Stories involving Vince McMahon are seemingly rare these days, but in a new interview with Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story podcast, ‘The Maverick’ recalled one of his first meetings with Vince. The conversation was rather awkward, with McMahon not really responding to any of Paul’s pitches.
“Part of the reason WWE originally hired me was because of my social presence. I had a lot of followers online, you guys do this, you bring in outsiders to integrate the audience. It’s a nice cross pollination. I went to the office to pitch him my ideas on what I could bring to the WWE and how I thought I could add value — this was before WrestleMania. These are my ideas and this is what I want to do. I’m big at making moments, I pitched him what I consider to be innovative viral ideas. He was all about virality, what’s the moment. I talked for like 15 minutes in this meeting and Vince didn’t say a word, he was just nodding. I’m like, dude, am I resonating? Is he even hearing what I’m saying? Can this guy hear me? I wasn’t sure I was like, dude, I sort of feel like I’m speaking a foreign language. We walked out and I spoke to my WWE rep, Kristin Prouty, she’s incredible. I walked out and Kristin was like, I don’t think he understood a word you said. I was like dude, I know. Damn. I wonder if he’s going to hire me. Apparently it downloaded in some way.”
Logan Paul, IShowSpeed, and Austin Theory will face LA Knight and The Usos at WWE WrestleMania 42. Fans can learn how that match was made by clicking here.
