Logan Paul Shares Who Sami Zayn Would Be If He Was A Pokémon, Warns Kevin Owens Before WrestleMania

Logan Paul appeared on The Bump's preview special of WrestleMania Night 2, talking all about Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Pokémon.

The YouTube star appeared on the April 2 edition of WWE SmackDown for the red carpet premiere of the trailer to Sami Zayn's conspiracy documentary. On that night, Paul looked unsure about what he was watching and he confirmed as much today, saying that "I don't know if I can call that [the extended footage] eye-opening. [Laughing] Dude, I don't know if I want this smoke right now." He would however say that he likes Sami, calling him super passionate and saying that he means well. That said, Paul acknowledges that he can be "a little much."

At the premiere, Zayn was attacked by Kevin Owens, who proceeded to shove Paul on his way out of the ring. Kayla Braxton asked if he was concerned about getting into a physical altercation tonight at WrestleMania. He said the following:

"No. You know, I'm a boxer so I don't see Kevin stepping out of line. I don't want any problems. I'm just a spectator tonight. I'm a guest. I thought it was unnecessary, but I didn't take too much offence to it."

Later in the interview, Paul was asked, 'If Sami Zayn was a Pokémon, what Pokémon would he be?' Here was his answer:

"[Laughs] This is an awesome question. I think he'd be Zapdos, man, the crazy electric bird who looks like he's been shocked with a hundred million volts of electricity. But it's a legendary Pokémon."

Paul is an avid Pokémon fan and card collector. Aside from playing the video games, watching the show, and having a Squirtle tattoo, he has monetized his love for the franchise with NFT's and box-breaking videos on YouTube that have tens of millions of views.

A professed lifelong wrestling fan, Logan Paul will be at WrestleMania tonight when Sami Zayn takes on Kevin Owens. Fightful will have live coverage of the event beginning at 4 p.m. PST.
