Lola Vice Explains Absence From NXT TV In Early 2025: “There Were Other Women & There Weren’t Enough Spots”

Vice was off TV for several months.

From January 2025 until April 2025, Lola Vice was not featured on NXT TV. She looked back on that period of her career while appearing on Busted Open.

Vice stated that she was pulled from television because there were other women to highlight and not enough spots to go around.

“I remember a big confidence change in myself, because in the beginning of last year, I was taken off TV (for) like three, four months because there were other women and there weren’t enough spots and I just sat back and I analyzed, and I just watched and learned, and then I came back for Stand & Deliver and then shortly after that, my AAA journey began, and I think when I went to AAA, got all these reps and I’m getting these reps with women over there who, number one, do not have the WWE style. Number two, work the right arm, not the left arm. It’s different, and number three, even though I do speak Spanish, there is a language barrier. They are calling spots and communicating and it just forced me to grow. It put me in a position to have to grow, learn really quick and adapt…”

In addition to being a part of NXT, Vice is a regular in AAA and is one-half of the promotion’s World Mixed Tag Team Champions with Mr. Iguana.

In January 2026, Vice made her Royal Rumble debut. She entered at the number six spot and was in the match for four minutes.
