Tony D'Angelo is still struggling to determine who is loyal to him and who isn't.
On the June 17 episode of WWE NXT, Tony D'Angelo called out Luca Crusifino, demanding answers from his consigliere. Luca explained that Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo had taken him out to the desert months ago, where men zip-tied him, threw him in the trunk of a car, and then let him out, with Lorenzo telling him it was his lucky day.
Stacks then entered the ring with a group of goons. He stated that he saved Luca because he knew Luca would never be good enough for Tony, as Tony doesn't trust him. Stacks and his crew jumped into the ring and began attacking Tony. Luca fought back to save Tony. However, just as it seemed Luca was about to punch Stacks in the mouth, he dodged, and Luca inadvertently struck Tony instead.

Luca Crusifino looked on, hurt that he had accidentally hit Tony D'Angelo while Stacks left the ring, pleased to have stirred up more division among his former family members. Adriana Rizzo has not been seen since Tony D placed her into hiding.
