Lucha Bros To Defend ROH World Tag Team Championship In Four-Way Match At ROH Death Before Dishonor

The Lucha Bros will defend the gold at ROH Death Before Dishonor.

Tony Khan announced that the Lucha Bros (Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo) will defend the ROH World Tag Team Champioship against The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett), Best Friends (Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor), and Aussie Open (Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher) at the pay-per-view on July 21.

AEW To Provide Medical Update On Tony Khan During 4/27 AEW Collision

Davis has been out of action due to an injury since May, so the title match is set to mark his return to in-ring competition. All three challengers are decorated tag teams. Bennett and Taven are former ROH World Tag Team Champions, Aussie Open have held the gold in NJPW, and Best Friends have competed all over the world.

The Lucha Bros won the titles at ROH Supercard of Honor, where they emerged victorious in the Reach for the Sky Ladder Match for the vacant championship.

ROH recently announced that Athena will defend the ROH Women's World Championship against Willow Nightingale at ROH Death Before Dishonor. More information is available here.
