Lucha Bros Reunite, Compete In SmackDown Dark Match
The Lucha Bros (Rey Fenix & Penta) reunited after WWE SmackDown went off the air.
In a dark segment, Judgment Day members Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh attacked Penta, who was saved by Fenix.
The angle set up a match, with the Lucha Bros picking up the victory.

This was the first time Penta & Fenix have teamed in a WWE ring. This was also their first time teaming together since AEW Rampage in July 2024.
Penta is the reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion, set to defend the title against Chad Gable at WWE SummerSlam. Fenix is the reigning AAA Cruiserweight Champion, successfully defending the title against McDonagh on SmackDown.
