Luchasaurus To Defend AEW TNT Title Against Shawn Spears At AEW Battle Of The Belts VII

Luchasaurus gets his first defense.

AEW announced that Luchasaurus will defend the AEW TNT Championship against Shawn Spears at AEW Battle of the Belts VII on July 15.

This will mark Luchasaurus' first defense of the title. He won the belt from Wardlow on the June 17 episode of AEW Collision. Christian Cage has been parading around with the championship and laid down ground rules for the title, which included no open challenges.

Spears confronted Luchasaurus and Christian on the July 2 episode of AEW Collision.
