Luchasaurus Returns On AEW Dynamite, Will Compete At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door

Luchasaurus made his return to AEW on the August 20th episode of AEW Dynamite.

Luchasaurus was a surprise from Nick Wayne, who announced that he was injured and could not team with Kip Sabian against Christian Cage & Cope at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

Luchusaurus (formerly Killswitch) will take Wayne’s place.

On Dynamite, Luchasaurus confronted Christian and Cope, laying them out with chokeslams.

Luchasaurus last wrestled at All In 2024. He was hospitalized in September 2024.

Fightful Select published the following report regarding Luchasaurus in September:

An AEW star is in rough shape after a scary medical situation.

Former AEW Trios, Tag Team and TNT champion Luchasaurus, aka Killswitch is recovering after his fiance found him collapsed on Friday, September 27. He was rushed to the hospital where they found his blood oxygen below 80 percent and determined he had pneumonia in both longs. It was discovered that he was days away from permanent lung damage.
