Luther And Mariah May Help Toni Storm Retain Against Deonna Purrazzo At AEW Revolution

Toni Storm had plenty of help at AEW Revolution.

The rivalry between AEW Women's World Champion Toni Storm and Deonna Purrazzo came to a head at AEW Revolution, as Storm put the gold on the line against her former friend. Purrazzo had targeted Storm since her arrival in AEW, and she had gone on an undefeated streak heading into the pay-per-view.

Ahead of the bout, Storm played some mind games with Purrazzo. Mariah May entered to Toni's initial AEW persona, complete with her gear and her theme song.

"Timeless" Toni followed her, and she went back and forth with Purrazzo. Having known each other for years, they had each other's offenses scouted. They used their signature submission holds on each other. Storm ultimately needed help from Luther and May, as her butler distracted the referee while she tapped out to Purrazzo. May then distracted Purrazzo, and the interference led to Storm hitting the Storm Zero fir the win.
