Lyra Valkyria comments on working With Rhea Ripley.
On the July 25th 2023 edition of NXT, Rhea Ripley would compete in a non title match up with Lyra Valkyria. While Lyra was not able to score the victory, she did earn the respect of The Eradicator, who has spoken fondly of Valkyria, labelling her 'a badass'.
While speaking to Ring The Belle, Lyra was asked about Ripley's fondness for her and how she feels looking back on her match with Ripley.
"That was... It was crazy. It was wild. Another match I'm very proud of in my career. I feel like it definitely helped me step up. She's incredible."
Later in 2023, Lyra would capture the NXT Women's Championship, while Rhea would keep the Women's World Champion up until earlier this week, where she was forced to vacate the championship due to a shoulder injury.
