Lyra Valkyria is looking to recapture the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship from the new champ, Raquel Rodriguez.
It has been a hectic couple of months for Lyra, having turned heel on her tag team partner Bayley and defeated her at the last WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Now that Bayley is out of the picture however, Valkyria is back to targeting gold.
While speaking to TMZ ahead of SummerSlam, Lyra Valkyria was asked what member of the WWE Women’s roster needs to watch their back.
“Raquel Rodriguez. She has the title that I created.”
Lyra would also discuss the title changing hands from Sol Ruca to Raquel, noting that she ‘knew’ Sol was going to lose the title.
“I knew she was going to lose it because I remember being that way, ‘everything’s great, she has never done a thing wrong, ever.’ I remember that happiness where nothing ever goes wrong in your life. She should be careful because a loss like that, I was able to handle it because I’m so mentally sound, but I don’t think she can handle it. You look at her and you’re just like ‘Wow, what a cute little fairy.’ She has not got the grit, the toughness, the mental stability that I have. Everyone should check in on Sol Ruca, I’d like to see what happens to her going forward.”
Elsewhere in another recent interview, Lyra noted that Bayley is ‘gone.’ You can read more about that here.
